They say that as you get older, your memory has a tendency to leave as well.  Well after what I just experienced at the first of the week, I have to say that I really do agree with this saying.

A couple of days ago I got a phone call from our park owners.  Now we own our own home, but we pay a monthly lot rent fee every month.  We have been doing this for nine years.  In December we are required to mail them twelve post dated checks for the entire year.   Well…guess what I forgot to do.  If you guess send in the rent checks then you would be absolutely correct!

I can’t believe that I did that!  Thankfully the park owners weren’t mad and kind of laughed about it.  That’s why I think your memory really does start to walk away as you get older.  Just in case your wondering, I made up the checks the very same day and put them right in the mail.  Better late than never!
